JEA is proud to serve in official engineering capacities for municipalities, county departments, and public authorities throughout Bucks County and the surrounding region.

These appointments reflect long-term trust, technical expertise, and a commitment to responsible infrastructure management.

Our roles range from Engineer of Record to Special Projects Engineer, providing engineering design, regulatory oversight, land development review, and construction inspection services across a wide variety of public-sector initiatives.

Engineer of Record

Municipal Engineering

As Engineer of Record for Falls Township, JEA is responsible for the day-to-day management of all Municipal Engineering matters within the Township. This role includes:

  • Land Development Reviews
  • Permit Reviews
  • Drainage Improvements
  • Road Improvements
  • MS-4 Permitting and associated projects
  • Floodplain Management
  • Providing engineering counsel to the Township Manager, Code Enforcement Department, and Board of Supervisors

In this capacity, JEA provides ongoing technical oversight and engineering leadership to support the Township’s infrastructure planning, regulatory compliance, and capital improvement initiatives.

Special Projects & Conflict Engineer

Bensalem Township

In this specialized role, JEA assists the Township Engineer on various Municipal Engineering projects within the Township. Responsibilities include:

  • Select Land Development Reviews
  • Select Permit Reviews
  • MS-4 Permitting and associated projects
  • Floodplain Management
  • Various additional engineering tasks as needed

In this capacity, JEA provides ongoing technical oversight and engineering leadership to support the Township’s infrastructure planning, regulatory compliance, and capital improvement initiatives.

Special Projects Engineer

Bucks County Water & Sewer Authority (BCWSA)

JEA serves the Bucks County Water & Sewer Authority in a specialized engineering role focused on infrastructure improvement and water and sewer-related land development review.

Services provided include:

  • Engineering Design
  • Bid Administration
  • Construction Inspection
  • Land Development Reviews on behalf of the Authority related to water and sewer improvements

In this capacity, JEA provides ongoing technical oversight and engineering leadership to support the Township’s infrastructure planning, regulatory compliance, and capital improvement initiatives.

Project Experience Includes:

Wyndmoor Sewer Repairs – Springfield Township, Montgomery County

Engineering Design, Bid Administration, and Construction Inspection for a project involving the removal and replacement of approximately 4,000 LF (linear feet) of gravity sanitary sewer, manhole replacement, and select lining for I&I (Inflow & Infiltration) Abatement in the Wyndmoor

Oreland Sewer Repair – Springfield Township, Montgomery County

Flow Meter Analysis and CCTV assessment of existing sanitary sewer infrastructure for identification of I&I Abatement reconstruction projects within the Oreland Section of Springfield Township.

Richland BOD Sampling & Analysis

BOD sampling and analysis conducted for identification of required improvements to BCWSA conveyance of effluent discharging to the PWD treatment facility.

Theological Seminary – Phase 2

Land Development Review and Construction Inspection of sanitary sewer improvements identified on an applicant’s land development plans.

5 Starr Venture 1, LP

Land Development Review and Construction Inspection of sanitary sewer improvements identified on an applicant’s land development plans.

Engineering design of repairs and replacements to the retaining wall system associated with the Bucks County Administrative Building, along with select drainage improvements and campus beautification enhancements.

Hardiaken Footbridge Replacement – Peace Valley Park, New Britain Township

Engineering design of a footbridge spanning a tributary to the North Branch of the Neshaminy Creek, located within Peace Valley Park.

Silver Lake Boardwalk & Footbridge Replacement – Bristol Township

Engineering design of a Boardwalk Replacement, Footbridge Replacement, and Trail Modifications within Silver Lake Park.

Special Projects Engineer

Township of Falls Authority (TOFA)

JEA serves the Township of Falls Authority in a specialized capacity on select infrastructure improvement projects.

Services include:

  • Engineering Design
  • Bid Administration
  • Construction Inspection

Through this role, JEA provides technical oversight and engineering support for Authority-related infrastructure initiatives.
